2004 Maclaren Truimph StrollerFor the first 6 months or so, our Peg Perego Plikomatic P3 Stroller fit our needs perfectl but as time passed, we found ourselves needing a bit more versatility. Enter the Triumph by Maclaren. We were first interested in Maclaren's Volo, their lightest and most compact but it doesn't have a reclining back, nor a hood. We also took a look at the Maclaren Quest, but at over 12 lbs and larger dimensions overall, we felt it was too similar to the Peg we already owned. That left us with the Triumph which has a lightweight strapping system to allow the back to recline, and whose dimensions are smaller than both the Plikomatic and Maclaren Quest. The Maclaren Triumph also has a smaller footprint than the Plikomatic and Quest models making it easier to navigate tighter spaces. The Triumph will be especially useful as our child starts to learn the whole concept of walking, since there will be times when part of the outing will be self propelled, and other times when she'll need a lift. The Triumph's light weight and shoulder strap will certainly make times like these more convenient than having to roll around an empty stroller.
